This is evident in the stories of two brave women: Sarah, a survivor of sex trafficking, and Amina, a victim of female genital mutilation (FGM) in Africa. Through our partnerships with nonprofits dedicated to their causes, we are committed to enhancing their advocacy efforts and transforming lives.

Sarah’s Story: Overcoming Adversity

At just 18, Sarah became a victim of sex trafficking, stripped of her autonomy and dignity. Fortunately, she found refuge in a nonprofit organization committed to supporting survivors. This organization provided her with essential services and emotional support, helping her begin her healing journey.

A Partnership for Progress

Recognizing the complexities of this issue, HopeWorks Global partnered with the nonprofit to implement a digital learning platform and modernize their operational processes. This transition is set to significantly enhance their ability to serve survivors like Sarah.

Our Approach

• Developing a Comprehensive Digital Learning Platform: We are creating an intuitive digital learning platform that will empower the organization’s staff with essential training and resources, enabling them to provide trauma-informed care.

Amina’s Story: Advocacy Against FGM

Amina’s journey is equally poignant. Growing up in a rural community in Africa, she was subjected to female genital mutilation, a practice that left deep physical and emotional scars. Fortunately, Amina was rescued by a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending FGM and supporting survivors.
